Blister on outside of thumb from tennis, any tips on stopping them?

jagsfan05 asked:

Every time I start back up from taking a break they come back because it isn’t used to it. I started back up in November and I got it. Then I took a break in December and it pretty much was going away and I started back up a few days ago and it broke open again. It’s so frustrating.

Any tips or help would be great…

haha I have that too, the obvious solution is dont take breaks, go for hits every few days in the off season.

but actually I think you need to retape your grip, this may sound weird but when your palm sweats the tape will have to absorb it and if doesnts, the raquet slides around, causing blisters,

    so

    1. play regularly
    2. retape your grip

yea usually the best thing to do is if you use a over-grip replace that or replace your grip and if you didn’t want to change that you could some strapping that’s used for strapping like wrists and that just take a little piece n put it over the blister

    hope this helps
